Taskboard
The task board visualizes your tasks, allowing you to organize and connect them flexibly and intuitively.
Task Cards
Each task is represented with a card with:
- A title,
- A start connector (shown as a circle on the left side)
- which can be clicked to complete a task
- which can be dragged to an end connector of another task
- An end-connector (shown as a circle on the right side) that can be used to link tasks together by dragging to the other start connector
- A border around the card that you can resize
- You can move a task around by dragging the task.
Creating New Tasks
To create a new task, click the plus-icon in the bottom right corner of the board to open the Create Task dialog.
Header
At the top of the screen, you will find the taskboard header. On the left side, you can navigate between maps or other task boards; in the center, you will find the search bar; on the right, you will see toggles to change the visibility of placed tasks.
Navigating between boards
You will see the task board dialog switcher when you click on the menu on the left side. In this dialog switcher, you can navigate to another task board, create a new one, or return to an overview of all your workspaces.
In the list of task boards, you will find the name of each task board, an indication of whether it is the primary task board, and a button to edit the task board. There can only be one primary task board for each workspace, and you have the option to toggle it. When navigating to a workspace, you will always be directed to the primary task board.
You can delete task boards by using the edit option; however, you cannot remove the last remaining task board.
Each workspace has a maximum number of allowed task boards, which you can find by checking the workspace settings.
Searching Tasks
You can use the search bar located at the top of the page to find a specific task.
- In the search bar, you will see toggle buttons that allow you to include tasks that have been completed and/or tasks that are currently blocked.
- The icon displayed at the beginning of each task indicates its status:
- An empty circle: The task is unblocked and not completed.
- A filled circle: The task is blocked and not completed.
- A circle with a checkmark: The task has been completed.
- If no tasks are found, a message will indicate this, and you can create a new task using the Create Task dialog.
You can enter any term in any order to match the title of a task.
Changing placed tasks visibility
- Show Completed Tasks: Toggles the visibility of completed tasks on the board (hidden by default).
- Toggle Blocked Tasks: Shows or hides blocked tasks on the board.
